Throat Chakra: I Speak The Throat Chakra is the house of a person's self-expression, communication, honesty, authenticity, and their true-life purpose. It is also at the centre of our ability to listen to others. In Sanskrit this chakra is, VISHUDHA. It lies at the centre of the throat where the thyroid gland is located. The colour of this chakra is a vibrant, peacock blue. When this chakra is out of balance, we will have difficulty in communicating with others. A blockage of self-expression prevails along with a lack of confidence when communicating with others. A person with a blocked throat chakra can come across as extremely shy or can display a very secretive personality. A person with an obstructed or imbalanced throat chakra may also suffer from headaches, oral health issues and/or a sore throat that won't go away.
