Tarot Talk: The Mystery of Tarot
Much mystery surrounds the existence and use of Tarot cards. For most, tarot cards represent a mystical world that is fully symbolic and the symbolic scenes pictured on the cards are able to predict the future. Some would even go as far as believing that tarot cards have a bearing on the fate of our lives. The truth is that the cards are really more of a means of conveying a message, rather than serving as the message itself. Their meanings can vary from person to person and it is highly dependant on the tarot prophet or diviner to accurately 'read' the messages they 'see' in a spread. The 'power' already inherent in the reader is what transcends into mystical revelations from the cards. The intimacy that the diviner has with the cards can raise the quality of a reading to a spiritualistic realm. In other words, the tarot reader deduces and interprets to the client what it is the cards are representing and how they might affect or relate to the client's
